Why does Mark Kirk hate Riverwoods?

Mark Kirk voted against President Obama's stimulus plan. The same plan that will pay for part of a new police station for Riverwoods according to the last village board meeting.

I'm pretty pro police these days since there have been a rash of burglaries on my street in the last few weeks. Not to mention a suicide off the Duffy Lane bridge and Mafia burglars arrested in Lincolnshire.

But Mark Kirk doesn't give a shit. He's lived in Washington for years.
