It's Alive, It's Alive!

I've been having wireless connection problems in part of my house so I bought a Linksys wireless range extender. It now has my vote for the worst documentation ever.

After two evenings trying to get it going, I finally figured out that your laptop, Tivo, etc. have to have static ip addresses. It's not in the documentation and I was only able to figure it out after I got the firmware and setup program upgraded. Yeesh!

It is working nicely now so I'll be posting more often. It's really nice to be able to set with my feet up after a long day of swatting spyware and planning backup strategies.

Isn't this just precious?

Congress is outraged that Bush will ransack their offices and confiscate their papers. After 5 years of a dictatorship and 2 stolen national elections, American citizens kidnapped and held without charges, Americans and others kidnapped and tortured whether or not they had anything to do with terrorism, Congressmen realize that they're in danger too.

I know it's being republished a lot lately but you really can't forget it. We're going to all have to stick together until 2009, although if he raids a few more offices we may be rid of him sooner.
